OnePlus has expanded its tablet lineup in India with the launch of the OnePlus Pad Go 2, unveiled alongside the OnePlus 15R smartphone. The new Android tablet targets users looking for a large display, long battery life and optional 5G connectivity at a mid range price point. With upgrades across display, performance and software, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 positions itself as a versatile device for entertainment, productivity and everyday use.
OnePlus Pad Go 2 price and availability in India
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 price in India starts at Rs. 26,999 for the Wi Fi only variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. OnePlus also offers a higher storage Wi Fi model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, priced at Rs. 29,999. For users who want cellular connectivity, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant with Wi Fi and 5G support is priced at Rs. 32,999.
The tablet is available in two colour options, Lavender Drift and Shadow Black. The Shadow Black finish is exclusive to the 5G variant. Sales begin on December 18 through Amazon, the OnePlus India website and offline retail stores. As part of introductory offers, buyers can avail a Rs. 2,000 instant bank discount along with a limited time discount of Rs. 1,000, bringing the effective starting price down to Rs. 23,999.
OnePlus Pad Go 2 specifications and features
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 runs on OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16, offering the latest software experience from the company. It features a 12.1 inch LCD display with a 2.8K resolution of 1,980 x 2,800 pixels. The panel supports Dolby Vision, up to a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 284ppi pixel density and an 88.5 percent screen to body ratio. OnePlus claims the display can reach up to 600 nits of peak brightness and covers 98 percent of the DCI P3 colour gamut.
Powering the tablet is the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The tablet is equipped with a quad speaker setup aimed at delivering immersive audio for streaming and gaming. It also includes AI based software tools such as AI Writer, AI Recorder and AI Reflection Eraser.
In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 features an 8 megapixel rear camera for casual photography and document scanning. On the front, there is an 8 megapixel camera designed for video calls and online meetings.
Connectivity options include Wi Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type C port. The tablet supports face unlock for biometric authentication and features OnePlus Open Canvas software, which enables enhanced multitasking with split screen and floating windows.
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is backed by a 10,050mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. OnePlus claims a full charge takes around 129 minutes. The tablet also supports 6.5W reverse wired charging. On a single charge, it is rated to deliver up to 15 hours of video playback or up to 60 hours of standby time.
The Wi Fi variant weighs about 597 grams, while the 5G model weighs approximately 599 grams. Dimensions measure 266.01 x 192.77 x 6.83mm. The tablet also supports the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo, sold separately, which offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
